A: Porsche have stopped the manufacture of the carrera GT..no amount of money as such is gonna convince them to make a new one unless you got some real pull.. i suggest you try to find a used one.though thats gonna be difficult.

A: Asking for the impossible unless you install the 5.7-litre V10 engine from a Carrera GT. It make that glorious sound as it has a flat-plane crank that causes the revs to rise and fall so easily. Still if you fit a good quality induction kit along with a stainless steel exhaust system the ZX will sound pretty awesome

I know that you can buy them at dealerships, and that Porsche Carrera GT's are no longer produced, but i do not live anywhere near a dealership that includes Lamborghini, or a used dealership that includes them. There are few used car dealerships near me, but they are no help at all. Is there any way I can get the car(s) easier?
A: Yep. Call your closest exotic car dealer and have them arrange a test drive. I'm afraid you'll just have to fly or drive to the nearest dealership once you contact them if you want to test drive, but they'll be VERY happy to give you a good selection of any car you want, available for testing when you arrive.
Trust me. Places like Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo have vast resources and are ecstatic to accomodate you by finding any car you'd like and delivering it. It's part of the ultra-luxury experience.

A: There is no 2007 CGT. Production ended in 2005.

A: The Porsche Carrera GT is a manual car, not automatic. I think they stopped making it in 2006. There is no 2007 model.

A: They we're based for around 400,000 when they first came out but if i were a betting man i'd say you couldn't touch one for under 750K now. The only made a limited production run of them, i think around 2900 units. And i think you're out of luck because they just made the last one a few months ago and it was already spoken for.

I think the carrera gt because ferrari is fast, and i do like it but its not as reliable and will break after going over 140 mph(in my opinion) what do you think?
A: Both cars are derived from race cars and would be capable of pretty amazing levels of performance... and as to reliability issues, I would not expect any with the Ferrari (if you follow racing, Ferrari have proved to be among the most reliable cars for quite some time).
Top speed would be mostly a meaningless number in such a contest as there are only a small number of road courses in the world where either of these cars would be able to reach top speed, so cornering and exit speed and braking would be the keys.
The Carrera GT ran an amazing 7:28 at Nurburgring... something that cannot be compared to the Enzo though as Ferrari have never run the car there. This alone suggests they may not want a direct comparision with the Carrera GT.
However, on the Top Gear test track the Enzo managed a little better time than the CGT... however, the time is well close enough that enviromental differences could easily account for the differences in lap time.
Ultimately, I'd expect any contest to be very close... but I think the Ferrari would most likely have an edge in most circumstances as the base technologies used in the Enzo are much closer to their race versions (and thus a little less usable as a street car) while the Carrera GT is actually based on the unused Le Mans prototype design from Porsche, but it is completely adapted to the street. Very similar cars, yet completely different.

A: It's not a matter of putting a great exhaust on just any car.
What you hear, are mainly the amazing powerful ENGINES, with only a little help from the butterfly-valved exhausts.

A: i would say the Carrera GT, why because of the marque, famous for making exotic cars. Also the carrera gt looks more stunning and stylish. the SLR also has some problems with the mechanical. in my city some guy with a SLR was coming back from the track when the car's windshield wipers started for no reason, then the washer fluid sprayed his windsheild continuously. ill stick with the Carrera GT, no problems heard about it so far.

No, NOT a 911 but the supercar. I've seen a guy on a highway near my house twice now. I was able to pace him and of course I sped up and slowed down a few times with my windows down so I could hear the engine as it passed. Kind of had a high whine to it. I wish I could have heard it opened up though. Awesome car!
A: I have seen one, but it was in a car shop. I live in South Africa and according to the law you cannot drive a left hand drive vehicle anymore, so it is now illegal to sell left hand drive cars-the Carrera GT being one of them! Besides i think there are only 2 in the country. I love that car though!!
