Q: 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo----- X-50 TURBO?
Can someone give me some idea to what this car is worth with 70k miles and in above average condition. Also what are the specs of this vehicle?

A: 70k miles would be a 911 turbo i wouldnt touch without a very nice extended warrenty. Last thing you want is a 7k synchro to go out, or a turbo to need to be replaced. One with about 35k on the clock will run you 60-65k, and will save you money in the long run. Theyre about 450 HP, AWD, TCS, PASM, fast, great brakes, and IMO the best deal in the sports car world right now.

Q: Will lenders (Banks ) finance me 72 months if I get a 2002, or 2003 car? Its a Porsche 911 Turbo Thanks!?
I have a 720 credit score with 5 years of NO late payments and no dings at all on my credit. I've herd different stories so thats why I'm asking it on here.

A: Shouldn't be a problem, I found loans for used cars on-line for a 72 month term at 6.94%. CapitalOne was one of them...

A: My answers: Route 66 2002 Porsche 911 Carrerra mam.

Q: Highway needed?
i just bought a used 2002 Porsche 911.. i basically want to "open it up" but need a good stretch of highway to do it on.. I will be doing this around 3-4AM (when there's no other cars around). Any suggestion on a good smooth stretch of highway near Boston. is Maine even part of the US... it should be part of Canada... you hoser I think my 3 cars is worth more then your entire neighborhood

A: You can't beat I-495 for smooth, straight, and generally cop free zones. If you just want a "fun" ride, take I-95 around Boston. And if you want a fun and scenic ride, relatively cop free (drove it several times a year to and from college) with a ton of twists and turns, take Route 7 (or is it 9) through Vermont... a GREAT hilly, twisty, scenic, and speedy ride through the country. HIGHLY recommended... I used to take my Mustang on that ride and it was a blast (I cannot even imagine doing it in a Porsche, you lucky bastard!)

Q: Which car to buy?
Hi, I've got £25k to spend on a car and have narrowed it down to these 2 options: Porsche 911 Carrera 2 - 1999, approx 40k miles BMW M3 coupe - 2002, approx £20k miles Which would be more expensive to run? I realise both will be expensive (!), but does anyone know average servicing costs for these cars? Also - anyone got a suggestion of another similar car I should consider? Thanks Please don't post to slag off porsche or bmw. i'm considering these 2 cars because of their quality - not their perceived image. My heart says i should go for a Porsche, but the M3 is newer with less mileage for the same price and is an awesome machine. it's a tough one...

A: I'd say the BM - it's a bit more practical than the porsche, and less ostentatious, which can be a very good thing if you need to leave it in city centre car parks etc. Both cars would make good, usable everyday performance cars, if that's what you want. For servicing, I'd seriously recommend finding a competent marque specialist, unless you have a warranty package that restricts you to a main dealer. The franchised places are very good, but they do have a tendancy to push their luck with the markups (especially oil - like posh restaurants with wine, they charge what they think they can get away with. A BMW main dealer will happily hit you for £130 for a bottle of Mobil 1, when you could get it for under £50 at a shop). I can't think of many cars that would appeal as much as those two. Mercs are a little staid, and though Japanese stuff like the 350z is pretty damn good, it just doesn't have the same feel to it. If you do lean towards the BMW, consider a 330i Convertible as well as the M3 - not quite as fast, but you get the drop top, a slightly more comfortable ride, and residual values you can break rocks on. Obviously the M3 convertible's an option, but I have no idea what their price bracket is compared to the coupe.

Q: Which is a better buy? 1999 porsche carrera 4 or a 2002 bmw m3 cab?
they both cost the same. me my sisters have pitched in enough money to buy a car. my sisters want the bimmer because they say its newer, better looking, topless, and backseats actually work for ppl to sit in. i say get the porsche carrera 4 soupe because im a guy(lol), its a fu.c.king PORSCHE and its all wheel drive woupe so its good for winter too, here in toronto our winters get brutal and cars get stuck. my dad says bimmer because he says he thinks the 911 looks like a mouse. which one do u think and y? which one of those cars are faster by the way? if it was ur pick would u choose it with more logic ( i guess thats the bimmer) or more emotion( PoRsChE)? thanks alot http://www.trader.ca/powerpage/details.aspx?vlotid=427162&adid=7082373 http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mknm=688&Region=-1&subcategory=&CAT=1&ADID=7077605&ADS=7077605%7C

A: from personal experience the porsche but i dont like that model its really ugly but my dad had one and hes also had an m3. the porsche is faster, way faster, but the model is ugly try and get the one before that. you also have to think about the maintenance the porsche is way more, a typical oil change is like 300 bucks where my dad used to take it and that was the dealership, and also the porsche model before the one you had is a wider body in the back which looks soo much meaner. the wide body in the year model you want only comes in the turbo. which is g*a*y*. my dad first had the porsche you want, then an m3 then a 1995 porsche 911 993 carrera, the 993 is like the model im telling you to get and the 996 is the ugly one you want and the newest one is a 997 look here This is the one my dad has and it looks soo awesome and mean with some nice GFG wheels, this one is also the rarest, and the price is going up everyday - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_993 This is the one you want its newer but it looks uglier- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_996 and this is the newest one that is out right now which has the wider body in the back- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_997 so in the end its the first one i showed you or the last newest one. the one you want is the most common one which i would not get for myself, but its your choice.

A: Some interesting thoughts here so far... and for the record, Porsche's AWD system is not designed for "racing" - just check how often it's been used by Porsche for that use compared to their RWD system. Though it is designed to be more usable in such circumstances than a traditional 50/50 split. And, at stock ride heights, the BMW and Porsche should be just about the same. But, on to the initial question... ultimately they are two very different cars, and which is better for you is going to be defined by those differences. The Porsche will be the faster of the two. I've driven E46 Coupes and 996 C4s at the track, and while the E46 is nice, it is well short of the 996 in total grip and braking. Both are well built, reliable packages, that combine a good deal of real world usability with great performance. Neither car is completely practical if it's your only car, though in such circumstances, the BMW would have a bit of an edge. For me, I'd go with the Porsche. I've owned models of both makes and while I like BMWs, I love Porsches... and I don't care for convertibles. So it's no contest. The fact that the Porsche is the more capable track car would also figure in and even though a proper alignment can cure the E46 of it's terrible understeer, I have always held it against BMW that they sent a M series car into the world with this problem to begin with. That said though, if you want a convertible with the other plusses of an M3, it's going to be the better car. If you are looking from a point of performance, then it's the Porsche.
